New Buildings And Facilities

The Multi Media center houses a study area for senior students, three multimedia rooms and the careers adviser’s office. Situated just off the Library, with a walkway linking the two areas (pictured) this center commands views over the Parramatta River with the Gladesville Bridge framing the Harbour Bridge in the distance.

This extension to the Inwood wing provides a much needed extra space for Music and Drama. Practice rooms, change rooms, 2 classrooms and a shared performance area provide further opportunities for our students to rehearse and perform. Also on this level is a second photography darkroom attached to the Visual Arts Faculty.
On the lower level, a new and larger gymnasium has been set up with the latest fitness equipment. A new chemical store for the Science Faculty has been installed near the Science Laboratories and a new print room has also been put in place.

CANTEEN AND COVERED SEATING AREA.

In front of the new canteen there is seating for 200 students at fixed tables. This provides a shaded area in summer and shelter during wet weather, as well as outdoor space for lessons, particularly for PDHPE. The pitched roof lines echo the traditional design of the existing buildings, as do the choice of brick and tile throughout.
